Why did I start my own blog? I was tired of two things: 1) Seeing fashion blogs with clothes that wouldn’t flatter me and I couldn’t afford and 2) blogs that focused on vanity versus conceptualization. I wanted to have open and honest conversations about whatever came to mind. Whether its social justice, kinky hair or grocery lists, my blog would be a platform for people to exercise their political voice. Thus….curl code was born.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio living in Brooklyn, curlcode will document my transition from cars to public transit, green space to concrete squares and all of the unlikely things that only will happen to me. Enjoy!
